About the Mary & Anna Memorial Youth Fund

The Mary & Anna Memorial Youth Fund honors the lives of Mary Nunn and Anna Sampson and their shared love of endurance riding, horses, and the riding community.

Established by the Equine Distance Riding Association (EDRA) in 2018, the fund helps ensure that young riders under 18 years of age can participate in the sport by removing financial barriers. The fund pays 50% of the ride entry fee for minors competing in eligible rides of 20 miles or more at recognized endurance events throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Since its creation, the fund has distributed nearly $60,000 in support and helped subsidize more than 1,000 ride entries, making it possible for the next generation of endurance riders to gain experience, build confidence, and become active members of the endurance community.

Every item in this auction helps continue that legacy. Your participation directly supports the future of our sport through the involvement of younger generations of riders.
