As someone who has personally experienced the prison system, I understand the immense struggles and barriers that incarcerated individuals face in terms of accessing resources and opportunities. My time in prison allowed me to rediscover my love for the arts, and I saw firsthand how it provided a powerful outlet for expression and healing. This realization inspired me to create the Prison Art Experience, an organization dedicated to providing a platform for artists with lived experience.

We work closely with our artists to ensure that they are fairly compensated for their work. We have a 70/30 cut on all of the original art pieces and an 70/30 cut on all on-demand prints. We are committed to ethical and transparent business practices, and we believe that our artists deserve to be recognized for their talent and dedication.

Through artistic expressions, we aim to help shift societal perspectives and create a more understanding world. Our passion and commitment to this cause drives us to work tirelessly to support these artists and advocate for change within the criminal justice system.
