Add to Calendar 2024-04-06 18:00:27 2024-04-06 22:00:56 America/Chicago Mustang Mingle Please join us for a community building and fundraising social event for Farnsworth Elementary School hosted by Friends of Farnsworth and sponsored by the Barnett Family Charitable Fund. Appetizers will be passed and a cash bar will be available at this 21+ event. There will be a silent auction, music, and activities. Recommended dress code is dressy casual. April 4 Update: Hello Mustangs and Supporters! It's hard to believe the Mustang Mingle is almost here. Thank you so much for purchasing tickets to the event. If you haven't checked out the amazing auction items yet, I highly recommend doing so. Also, if you register now for the auction, it will save time on Saturday and you can get right to mingling when you arrive! Check out the auction and register here: https://givebutter.com/c/MustangMingle/auction Several people have asked about the dress code. When polled, parents preferred a casual event, so we are calling this "dressy casual" attire. Wear a dress or a tie if you want, or wear jeans and dress them up a tad. Whatever you're comfortable with! You can probably leave your ball gown at home though. ;-) The event starts at 6pm at 6676 W Howard in Niles. The Fairway is in the Howard Leisure Center set back from the Howard Street Inn. You can enter through the front door if you come in via the Howard Street Inn entrance, but there is more parking by the side entrance if you drive in through the TAMS golf course.  Please arrive before 8 if you want to have some of the delicious appetizers that will be passed. If you have a heartier appetite or specific dietary restrictions, you might want to eat something beforehand, but I suspect most will be satisfied with the passed bites. The auction ends promptly at 9:30 but there will still be time after to mingle if you so choose.  IMPORTANT: we recently found out that the cash bar is only accepting cash and not cards. There is an ATM at the Howard Street Inn across the parking lot, but if you plan to enjoy alcohol, soda, or coffee from the bar, you may want to plan ahead to bring cash. Auction items must be purchased electronically with the card you enter during auction registration. Tickets for Split the Pot and Ring Toss can be purchased electronically on the auction site, or with cash. I speak for all volunteers when I say we are thrilled to mingle with you. This is an exciting first for our school community and we have high hopes it will be a success!  Cheers!
