Pittsburgh! The Community Mutt Strut returns this September at a Brand New Location!!

We are excited to announce due to attendance that the Mutt Strut will be relocating to the Great Lawn at the Riverfront Park on the North Shore on September 16, 2023. Join Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs, PNC Bank, and a host of others as we celebrate our fabulous four-legged friends, and raise funds to train Service Dogs for our veterans in need.

Of course, we’ll continue the great online event as well! Watch this page for information to log into our spectacular silent auction taking place online from September 13th – 16th!

We know that approximately 22 veterans each day are taking their own lives, and the Covid pandemic has only heightened this crisis. But once paired with a Guardian Angels Medical Service Dog, the rate of suicide in recipients to date is Zero. It’s no accident that the Mutt Strut is being held during Suicide Prevention Month – because that is exactly what these dogs do.

So join us in creating awareness and plan on joining us on September 16th for a great day in Pittsburgh, PA!

There will be a dog costume contest, a dog parade with categories and prizes, food, pet and veteran-related vendors, music, and fun for the entire family!

This annual FUNdraising event helps Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs train Service Dogs for our veterans, first responders, and civilians in need. Come have a great time in the park, and help us Unleash the Power to Heal.
