Hurricane Helene flood relief for WNC area.

Funds are primarily going to people we know, Baba lovers, who are on the ground, doing humanitarian and service work in the Asheville area.

How we have used funds to date (Dec 17, 2024):

purchased goods for donation $14,725.55 (early on: bottled water, cleaning supplies, chainsaws, generators, PEP, clothes, etc)

Water Bearer Project $15,020.00 (water filters to 73 households)

ReHome Project $34,000.00 (16 campers, most donated, outfitted with heaters, supplies, bedding, pots, etc)

cash to Inga Savage $4,500.00 (general supplies, medical supplies)

Cash to support Chai Pani $4,500.00 (Towards support for 143 employees!)

Emergency funds to individuals $7,000.00 (early on: some received a small sum of $500 if they experienced a major loss)

Funds to WNC businesses (Bazaar) $596.00 (direct investment in the local economy)

Robocall $10.00 (Administrative)

Total expended to date: $80,351.55

As the recovery efforts evolve, Baba Zoom will stay responsive and supportive, and adapt to Baba's Will with love and intuition.
