Guests enjoy a curated evening featuring: An immersive culinary and cultural experience featuring a chef-curated three-course Latin dinner by Chef Mr.Mori, and artisan desserts by CherryBerry and handcrafted cocktails & beers. We will premiere a short documentary that tells the story of Despierta, from our beginnings to the impact we are creating today.

Who We Are
Despierta is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering Latina women and youth through mental health resources, leadership development, and personal growth opportunities.

Since 2020, we’ve served over 3,904 women and youth in Charlotte, helping them build resilience, achieve independence, and create brighter futures.

We believe in breaking generational cycles of poverty and fostering a community where Latina women can rise and thrive. Despierta offers culturally relevant programs that prioritize emotional wellness, promote academic and professional success, and celebrate cultural identity.

Together, we inspire growth, confidence, and a stronger, united community.
