Each year, our company and second company members bring creativity to life by designing and hand-painting their own Nutcracker doll. This special collection is now available through our Silent Auction — a fundraiser supporting FMBallet’s upcoming trip to Ballet Alliance 2026 in Reno, NV.

We are thrilled to have the opportunity to attend Ballet Alliance, where our dancers will train alongside pre-professional and professional artists from across the country. This experience allows them to grow technically and artistically, learn from master teachers, and share their own choreography and performance work on a national stage.

Funds raised through this auction help make this invaluable experience more accessible and affordable for the dancers representing not only our company, but the state of North Dakota. Your support directly impacts their ability to learn, grow, and shine.

Fargo-Moorhead Ballet is a regional professional dance performance company recognized and respected nationally for its original choreography, employment of quality artists, and the continuing creative development of the company’s educational and outreach programming. FMBallet presents a multidisciplinary repertoire from ballet, jazz, moderns, and tap, under artistic direction of Matt Gasper.

The FMBallet provides professional dance performance opportunities for Fargo-Moorhead-West Fargo and surrounding areas. As a company member, dancers ages 13 through adult are able to train all season long and be featuerd in our major production and projects. We also invite all area dancers and movers ages 6 through adult to audition and dance alongside our professional company. We do not charge an activity fee to any participating dancer. Our fee free program is supported but ticket sales, donations, and sponsors.
