Our founder, Roohallah Mobarez, has walked a unique path, personally experiencing the prison system's challenges. During his time behind bars, he rediscovered his love for the arts and witnessed firsthand its profound role in healing and self-expression. This revelation ignited the spark that gave birth to the Prison Art Experience, an organization dedicated to providing a creative haven for artists with lived experiences.

We are passionate about supporting our artists, advocating for change within the criminal justice system, and reshaping societal perspectives. We work closely with our artists, ensuring they receive fair compensation, with a 70/30 split on all original art pieces and on-demand prints. Our commitment to ethics and transparency shines through every step of the way. (70% returned to the artists)
