At Big Dog Energy, we believe every dog deserves a chance to thrive.

We created Big Dog Energy to break down barriers to adoption by providing financial, educational, and community support for West LA Shelter dogs and the people working to help them. Through advocacy, fundraising, volunteer engagement, adoption promotion, and partnerships with rescues, we work to create more opportunities for dogs to find safety, support, and forever homes 🏡🐶

The Paws, People & Purpose Impact Fund was created to turn the conversations happening at Animal Welfare 101 into real-world impact for dogs in need.

While Paws, People & Purpose focuses on education, awareness, and community, this fund helps us provide direct support to vulnerable West LA Shelter dogs ❤️‍🩹

How Your Donation Helps

🐾 $25 provides treats, enrichment toys, or comfort items for a shelter dog

🐾 $50 provides a bag of food or essential supplies for a foster dog

🐾 $100 sponsors a professional training session to help a dog build confidence and improve their chances of finding a home

🐾 $250 helps cover a veterinary visit, vaccines, diagnostics, or preventative care

🐾 $500+ helps us provide comprehensive support through medical care, training, boarding assistance, foster support, and adoption promotion

Why It Matters

Every day, incredible dogs enter Los Angeles shelters through no fault of their own. As shelters face overcrowding, limited resources, and increasing intake numbers, many dogs need additional support to successfully transition into homes. Some are overlooked because of size, breed stigma, medical needs, behavioral challenges, or simply because they haven’t been seen by the right person yet.

That’s where we step in.

At Big Dog Energy, we help bridge the gap between the West LA shelter, rescues, and adopters by providing the resources, visibility, and support that can change a dog’s outcome. We know that a single Doggy Day Out can lead to a foster application. A training session can help a dog become more adoptable. A social media post can connect a dog with their future family. Sometimes, a little extra support can make all the difference.
