The Aberdeen Area Veterans, Inc. has been gifted a once-in-a-lifetime African Safari hunt to auction off as a fundraiser for our new building and programming. All proceeds from this auction will go towards our new facility that is intended to be a safe, welcoming place for veterans and the community alike.

The Safari Package has been provided by Numzaan Safaris, a highly reputable outfitter in South Africa. They are based in Limpopo Province South Africa and are providing a 7 day hunt for you and a guest. This $7,000 value package must be used between March and October in 2024. Included in this package is all accommodations, (one guide professional, lodge rooms, meals, beverages, laundry, airport transportation, fully equipped Safari vehicle, caping, skinning, salting of trophies) and taxes for the days of the hunt. They are also offing $500 per hunter towards trophy fees. If desired, Numzaam Safaris will also offered $500 off for each hunter if you chose their taxidermy of choice (includes free delivery of mounts). Guests are responsible for their own air fare to and from South Africa and two animals each are required to be hunted ranging from $500–$13,000 each.
