At Sonoma Earth School, we believe childhood should be filled with wonder, connection, and curiosity. Every day, our students are out in the garden harvesting vegetables, solving problems through play, learning through storytelling, and exploring the world with open hearts and hands.

Here, learning starts with the land — and with the belief that every child deserves a safe, joyful space to grow into their full selves.

Our curriculum is inspired by the rhythms of the natural world and the deep roots of the land we’re on, honoring Indigenous traditions and cultivating reverence for place, people, and planet. Students aren’t confined by desks — they are storytellers, gardeners, scientists, and artists. They learn by doing, by asking big questions, and by being trusted with real responsibility.

This is a school where curious, creative, and neurodivergent learners thrive, surrounded by a community that celebrates different ways of thinking, learning, and being.

Our annual Silent Auction helps fund what makes this place extraordinary — outdoor classrooms, hands-on learning materials, teacher training, scholarships, field trips, art and music, and so much more.
