Inspiration Studios inspires individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities to lead purposeful, healthy, and self-directed lives through innovative programming and services.

Our Programs

InsideOut Studio is a vocational habilitation program that employs individuals with disabilities. This program provides the opportunity for artists with disabilities to produce, market, and receive an income from their art, while gaining confidence in their abilities. Art is for everyone, but unfortunately, artists with disabilities typically earn only 42% compared to their peers. Over 87% live in poverty. There is a significant need for programs like InsideOut, which not only encourage and develop the talent of artists with disabilities, but provide formalized training on how to market, present and sell their art professionally.

Experiences in Action is an expansion of InsideOut Studio catered to our clients that have shown exceptional skill and motivation to take their art careers to another level. The individuals in this program will have the opportunity to participate in murals, installations, teaching classes and other activities outside of the standard InsideOut Studio experience and experiment with art and technology with our printer and engraver. Individuals will be led by the Program Manager to pursue and develop their skills in the art world.

Inspired Transportation is a non-medical transportation program that moves community forward with timely, dependable, and safe transportation for individuals with disabilities. Transportation is a prevalent area of concern for many communities, especially the developmental disabilities community. In a 2003 US Department of Transportation report, 12% of Americans with disabilities reported difficulty getting transportation, as compared to only 3% of people without disabilities. In the 2012 Ohio Mobility Improvement Study, transportation was the number one issue cited as a barrier to resource access and community integration for Ohioans with disabilities. Inspiration Studios has developed Inspired Transportation to combat this barrier in Butler County.

Inclusive Wellness is a day habilitation program that focuses on health and wellness. We recognize that health and wellness are not luxuries but fundamental rights for every individual, regardless of ability. As we delve into the depths of this program, it became apparent that the need for a tailored, comprehensive health and wellness program for individuals with disabilities is not just a desire but an imperative for social progress. The program’s foundation rests on five crucial categories: Physical Education, Nutrition, Mental Health, Financial Wellness, and Social and Community Inclusion. This program provides clients with the resources, support, and opportunities they need to lead healthier, more fulfilling lives, and to become active, engaged members of our community.
