At its core, SMASH provides a foundation of health that allows musicians in our community to not only survive, but to thrive. When you’re struggling with your mental health, a painful tooth, an injury, or untreated chronic health conditions, it's a struggle just to put one foot in front of the other, let alone chase your dreams.

When you support SMASH, you help provide a safety net that allows our local musicians to feel cared for and focus their resources on other essential living expenses, including chasing their music dreams. In turn, musicians enrich our lives.

We believe musicians deserve high-quality health care, and should not have to be rich or an insurance expert to access it. As musicians hustle to make ends meet, healthcare takes a backseat to expenses like rent and food. Seeing a doctor when it isn’t an emergency feels like a luxury, but it shouldn’t be.
