Sustainable Stillwater MN is committed to creating a thriving, resilient community by promoting sustainable practices, environmental education, and collaborative initiatives. This fundraiser embodies our mission by focusing on "Eco-Hope and Youth"—the optimistic belief that through collective effort and innovative thinking, we can build a healthier planet.

The youth of today are the leaders of tomorrow. Their passion, creativity, and determination are essential in tackling the environmental challenges we face. By supporting our young eco-advocates, we invest in a brighter, greener future for all. This event aims to provide the resources, knowledge, and platforms we all need to lead impactful sustainability projects.

General Event Details

When and where is the Gala?

Date: Thursday, November 7, 2024
Time: Doors open at 5:00 PM; Event runs from 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM
Location: JX Venue, 123 2nd St N, Stillwater, MN 55082

Arrive between 5:00 and 6:00 PM to check in, enjoy socializing, and browse our silent auction.

Check-In & Arrival

What should I bring to check in?

QR Code: Your event QR code (found in your registration confirmation email) for quick check-in.
Smartphone: Required for auction participation, donations, and event updates.

Where can I park?

Street parking is available near the venue.
The Second Street Ramp is a nearby alternative.
We encourage eco-friendly transportation options like walking, biking, or carpooling.

Auction and Donations

How do I participate in the auction?

Visit our GiveButter event page.
Register to Bid: Auction Page
Click “Register to Bid” and set up your bidder profile with payment info.
Start Bidding Now: The auction is live, and anyone can bid, even if they’re not attending in person. Auction closes at 7 PM on November 7.

Can I share the auction link with friends?

Yes! Bidding is open to all, so feel free to share the auction link and encourage others to join the fun.

What if I don’t want to use a smartphone?

We will have staff available to assist you with bidding and donation options during the event. For donations, you may also bring a check.

Dress Code & Fashion Show

What should I wear?

The dress code is eco-friendly! We encourage vintage, thrifted, upcycled, or creatively recycled outfits. Participation is optional, but we’d love to see your eco-inspired look!

Can I showcase my eco-friendly outfit?

Yes! After our Eco Fashion Show, guests who wish to can stand and share their sustainable attire with the crowd.

Food & Drink

Will there be food and drink at the event?

Yes! We will serve a selection of locally sourced and organic entrees when possible:

Minnesota Stuffed Chicken: Baked with wild rice, green onions, and mushrooms.
Vegetable Asian Stir Fry (Vegan): Asparagus, cabbage, red peppers, and cashews on a bed of brown rice and quinoa.

Drinks are available for purchase at the JX Venue’s bar (cash or credit).

Tickets & Registration

Is it too late to buy tickets?

Yes, ticket registration has closed. However, the auction is still open to everyone, even non-attendees!

What if I can’t attend the event but still want to support the cause?

You can still support by participating in the auction or making a donation directly on the GiveButter Event Page.
