Five artists. One theme. Painted live in front of 4,000 people.

At the FerndAle Block Party in August 2026, five local artists each painted an original 4 by 4 foot canvas on the theme Seasons of Change, live at Placemake Arts Northwest's Rock the Block station. The finished works debuted together at It's About Time Cultural Arts Center in Ferndale and remain on exhibition through January 31, 2027.

All five are for auction. Half of each sale (after direct costs) goes to the artist; the other half funds Placemake Arts Northwest's community arts programming in Ferndale and Whatcom County, including the campaign for Washington State Creative District certification. Winning bidders and Buy Now buyers take their piece home after the exhibition run closes on January 31, 2027. We will contact you to arrange pickup in Ferndale.
