You're here because you believe in building a compassionate community – one where our most vulnerable neighbors are seen, heard, and cared for. We at Unity Housing share that vision, and we're reaching out with a heartfelt invitation to join us on a crucial journey. For the past year, our team has been hard at work in Johnson City, TN, building programs to support the housing insecure. Now, we're on the cusp of launching a groundbreaking initiative: a medical respite property specifically designed to serve the growing population of elderly individuals experiencing homelessness. But we can't do it alone - this is where we need our community's help to make our mission a reality.

The statistics are incredibly concerning. The number of elderly people facing homelessness is rapidly rising nationwide, projected to triple by 2030. These individuals are not just lacking a place to sleep; they face complex health challenges and often endure harsh, isolating conditions. This is why our mission is so vital. We envision a place of respite, a sanctuary where elderly individuals can recover from illness or injury with medical care, compassion, and support to help them rebuild their lives.

That’s why we are hosting "Behind the Mask," a black-tie masquerade event at the beautiful Waterstone Venue on February 27th. We're not just throwing a party; we're creating an experience that will fuel our ability to do this much-needed work. Your presence will directly contribute to realizing this life-changing goal, and you’ll have an amazing time doing it.
