Snow Day, a CAC Beardsley Community Farm Benefit, will be hosted at Hi-Wire Brewing from 4-8 PM on February 4th, 2023. Come help us celebrate 25 years of serving Knoxville!
Snow Day will feature live performances by a diverse group of musicians, a soup contest between some of Knoxville's finest restaurants, a silent auction, and a bar with a percentage of profits benefiting the farm.
TICKETS: are $25 if you pre-order online before 12:00 PM 2/4/23 , or $30 at the door. Add on a limited edition hand screen printed Snow Day poster by local artists Ashlee Mays and Logan Syzmanowski of the Museum of Infinite Outcomes for an additional $25.
Tickets include all-you-can-eat soup! Kids under 8 get in for free!
Hi-Wire Brewing is located at 2020 Barber St, Knoxville, TN 37920.
MUSICIANS: Yer Flowers, Evie Andrus, Jorden Albright, NEZ, and Supine Sea.
SOUP AND BREAD: This year's soup contestants include OliBea, Landing House, The Phoenix Pharmacy and Fountain, Kandilige Kitchen, Yee-Haw Brewing Co., Potchke, Seoul Brothers, Tako Taco, and Red Bud Kitchen. Come try delicious vegetarian and vegan soups featuring local ingredients! The winner will receive a beautiful gourd award. Arrive early before soup runs out. Please consider bringing your own reusable mug and spoon to cut down on waste.
SILENT AUCTION: Come bid on amazing silent auction items! Over one hundred items from wonderful Knoxville businesses will be represented. The silent auction will run online (through this website starting January 27th) as well as in person at Snow Day from 4PM-7PM.

Below is a map of some primo parking spots for Snow Day! We've spoken with a lot of businesses in the area, and many have been kind enough to let us use their lots. Here's a list we made of where you can park to make things easier on you, but there are plenty of other nooks and crannies to squeeze into.
After the event, you can call the Kiss Caboose for a ride back to your car if your legs are too tired from all that dancin' you're gonna to do. Save this number if you think that's you! (865-722-0779). We'll also have a sign outside of Hi-Wire with this number posted.

CAC Beardsley Community Farm promotes food security and sustainable urban agriculture through practice, education, and community outreach. Beardsley Farm donates over 40,000 pounds of organic produce annually to local food pantries and other non-profit organizations with the help of 1,500 volunteers. The farm offers youth and adult educational programming on topics including food production and cooking. The farm also provides space for refugee families on-site to grow food for themselves, in addition to managing 30+ community gardens off-site at congregate living sites in Knoxville.
