As Portsmouth celebrates its 400^th year, the town turns its attention to Ukraine to help victims of the Russian invasion.

On July 12^th from 5 – 7 PM, at the Music Hall Lounge, local members of the seacoast community are organizing a fundraising event in partnership with the Help Ukraine | Operation Palyanytsya organization.

Proceeds from the event will go to help train Ukrainian mental health professionals in the latest international best practices for treating trauma and PTSD. These Ukrainian mental health professionals will then ‘train the trainers’ to share the knowledge and know-how with their peers, as well as to reach a wider audience to maximize the positive impact.

Help Ukraine | Operation Palyanytysa is a US registered 501(c)3 that has been working in Ukraine since the first days of the war. To date they have helped more than 400,000 Ukrainians in need and delivered more than $2.5 million in humanitarian and medical aid to the country.
