Story
As Portsmouth celebrates its 400th year, the town turns its attention to Ukraine to help victims of the Russian invasion.
On July 12th from 5 – 7 PM, at the Music Hall Lounge, local members of the seacoast community are organizing a fundraising event in partnership with the Help Ukraine | Operation Palyanytsya organization.
Proceeds from the event will go to help train Ukrainian mental health professionals in the latest international best practices for treating trauma and PTSD. These Ukrainian mental health professionals will then ‘train the trainers’ to share the knowledge and know-how with their peers, as well as to reach a wider audience to maximize the positive impact.
