The Recess Project aims to enhance the recess experience for students with disabilities by providing schools with accessible playground equipment. Many schools lack inclusive playgrounds, leading to exclusion during recess. Our mission is to support schools in creating a more inclusive environment through the installation of accessible equipment.

As a non-profit organization, The Recess Project Inc. is dedicated to making public school playgrounds more accessible and inclusive for students with disabilities. Through a nomination process, we select schools to receive donated playground pieces tailored to their specific needs. By collaborating with schools, districts, and communities, we work together to raise funds for the playground equipment, ensuring that each school can provide an inclusive recess experience for all students.
