Making a Difference, One Meal at a Time: Texas Table 2025

The Cook’s Nook continues to bring the community together through its annual fundraising event, Texas Table: A Feast for A Cause. This special evening celebrates the transformative power of food while supporting local nonprofits that uplift our communities.

On February 25, 2025, this beloved event returns to Lenoir in South Austin for an unforgettable night of culinary artistry and giving back. Guests will enjoy a carefully curated five-course dinner crafted by renowned chefs, soulful live music, and the chance to bid on one-of-a-kind silent auction packages.

This year's lineup includes:

Damien Brockway – Distant Relatives, 2024 Michelin Bib Gourmand honoree
Uyen Pham – UNESCO Chef Ambassador & Culinary Institute of America Chef
Todd Duplechan – Lenoir, 2024 Michelin Recommended Restaurant
Michael Fojtasek – Olamaie, Little Ola’s, and Maie Day, Michelin Star recipient
Julie Ratzesberger – The Cook’s Nook Culinary Manager, crafting culturally relevant cuisine

The evening will also feature Milam & Greene Whiskey as the cocktail sponsor, crafting exceptional drinks to pair with this memorable dining experience and wines from purveyors like Wine for the People. Enjoy live music from the talented Ryan Townsend Trio to make the night even more special, creating the perfect ambiance for an evening of great food, fine drinks, and lasting impact!

This year, the proceeds will benefit two remarkable organizations making a lasting impact in Central Texas:

Alliance for African American Health in Central Texas (AAAHCT): Focused on eliminating health disparities, AAAHCT empowers the Black community with health education, advocacy, and resources to improve overall well-being and create healthier, more equitable futures.
Austin Youth River Watch (AYRW): Combining environmental stewardship with youth development, AYRW empowers underserved high school students through hands-on environmental education, mentoring, and water quality monitoring to inspire a lifelong commitment to conservation and community.
