Step into the magic of the holidays at the 22nd Annual Festival of Trees & Wreaths! Beginning November 24, the museum transforms into a twinkling winter wonderland of festive trees and whimsical wreaths sure to spark your holiday spirit. The excitement peaks December 5–7, when the official festival weekend invites guests to vote for their favorite creations in the People’s Choice Awards, join a family-friendly scavenger hunt, and soak in the festive cheer. Admission is free—a perfect holiday outing for all ages!

Cortez comes alive with holiday sparkle at the 6th Annual Festival of Wreaths, running November 28 – December 7! Stroll through a colorful indoor gallery of hand-decorated wreaths all together in one festive location and online, where you can browse, bid, and marvel at the creativity of local sponsors. Don't miss this festive, free, all-ages celebration of community and holiday cheer in downtown Cortez!

ABOUT COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS & OUR OWN LIVES

Founded in 1985, Community Connections is a non-profit organization dedicated to connecting people with disabilities, developmental delays, and complex needs to the resources they choose to lead healthy and fulfilling lives. We envision a world where all people fully belong, contribute, and thrive.

Our Own Lives is a new non-profit that has taken on the Direct Services programs previously offered by Community Connections. The mission of Our Own Lives is to provide quality support on our own terms, for us to be free to be ourselves. We center the disabled community to be heard, and we build each other up to change our world. Because we are all experts in our own lives.
