In celebration of our artist residency program's 40th anniversary, we invite you to join us for a fall gala and fundraising dinner in an unforgettable setting — Ucross, Wyoming. The evening will begin with cocktails in the Ucross Art Gallery and newly constructed Koehler Performing Arts Center, and it will continue with dinner, performances, and an auction in the new Lauren Anderson Dance Studio and a tent connected to the Dance Studio's accordion doors.
We will present Governor Mark Gordon and First Lady Jennie Gordon with Ucross's Outstanding Patrons of the Arts Award for their generosity and commitment to the arts in Wyoming. The Gordons will be welcomed to the stage by Ucross friend, neighbor, and best-selling author Craig Johnson. We will also honor our founding trustee and longtime Chairman Jim Nelson with the Raymond Plank Award for Visionary Leadership for his vision and unwavering support for Ucross. In addition, the evening will include appearances by many Ucross friends and partners; short performances by special Ucross alumni artists; a fun, lively auction (stay tuned for more details!), food by Basil & Bloom, and good community cheer.
All funds raised before and during the event will help us finish our 40th Anniversary Campaign, and as such, will support residency time for 115-plus artists each year, thoughtful stewardship of our historic 20,000-acre ranch, and continued investment in our arts education and community engagement activities. Your ticket will help Ucross remain a meaningful and relevant resource for artists, the community, and the state of Wyoming.*
