Vacaville Christian School opened in September, 1975 with one set of buildings, a handful of families, a few acres of land, and 35 students. Today, VCS impacts nearly a thousand families each year toward an inspiring vision to partner with home and church, to provide a Christ-centered education where young people might excel in life and in service to Jesus Christ.

From those humble beginnings, the seeds of something much greater were planted. Today our 26 acre campus enrolls approximately 1,000 students, and features state-of-the-art classrooms, labs, athletics facilities, arts spaces, and more. What hasn’t changed is the heart of the school: the nurturing environment, the commitment to faith and character, the high-excelling academics, and the mission of equipping students for a life of purpose and service.

As we celebrate 50 years, we pause to reflect on the countless stories woven into the fabric of VCS: the first-generation Falcons, the families who trusted us year after year, the alumni who carry forward the values they learned here, the teachers who invested their hearts, and the community that rallied to build something meaningful.

As we reflect on the legacy of VCS, we also look forward to the future: to providing even more students with transformative Christian education, to expanding our reach, to deepening the impact in our local community and beyond.
