Weston Friendly's sound system has become outdated or nonfunctional after years of use in our shows.

In addition, the FCC has reallocated sound frequencies used by the majority of our mics to wireless carriers. This government reallocation and the subsequent ban of the use of wireless mics in this range has forced us to scrap a huge chunk of our sound system.

Currently we are slowly working toward replacing old, nonfunctional or unusable equipment. New mics, receivers, transmitters, support equipment, and sound board are needed. We are looking to fundraise $15,000 this season to aid in the payment for our upgrades.

Here are some of the necessary items that your donation will go toward purchasing:

$180 - wireless mic (6 needed)
$629 - fin antenna (one needed)
$1300 - dual wireless mic system with 2 bodypack transmitters (3 needed)
$5200 - digital sound mixer board (one needed)

Please donate today to improve the sound for all our main stage productions and in our Friendly Kids theater shows. Our ultimate goal is that the audience fully hears the the entire story being told.
