For over 25 years Asian American LEAD has empowered underserved Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) youth to become confident youth leaders. Despite mainstream perceptions, AAPIs experience divergent socioeconomic outcomes connected to their countries of origin and migration histories. We support and advocate for these communities by:

Providing youth opportunities to recognize and reach their full potential and develop into confident and engaged leaders
Connecting youth to a caring, committed adult with a safe avenue to express their feelings and frustrations, improve their self-esteem, and foster positive self-identity
Changing the narrative on and with AAPI youth

All net proceeds will go towards supporting AALEAD’s mission and work, impacting over 400 youths in the DMV! We are grateful that we have had the opportunity to continue these annual dinners, usually joined by over 300 attendees. We hope you will join us this year!
