The weather is forecasted to be on the chillier side but the event will be indoors. Check-In: Upon arrival, please proceed to the registration desk to check in. If you are registered to bid, you will receive a paddle with your bidder number. ACTION ITEM: You can use this link to go ahead and make sure that you are registered on the auction site which will save check-in time. WHAT TO EXPECT The event will feature music for the entire evening by DJ Squirrel. We will be serving a variety of heavy appetizers (Asian, Mediterranean and Indian Cuisine). The bar will offer complimentary beer and wine and soft drinks. There is still time to purchase tickets to the exclusive whiskey tasting sponsored by Michigan Liquor from 6:00-7:00 PM. While you are eating and drinking, you can peruse the amazing silent auction items and continue bidding on your phone until 8:00 PM when it closes. Then we will break for the live auction. After that it’s dancing, striking a pose in the photo booth, and partying the night away until 11:00 PM!!! Silent Auction: The silent auction will close on the night of the gala promptly at 8:00 PM, so figure out your winning strategies. Note that you can set an auto bid of the max you are willing to pay - the system will then bid for you up to that amount but will not go further than the next highest bidder. Live Auction Bidding: Take a minute to read through the items and think about which amazing one is for you. Insider scoop - a few of the vacations are not only family friendly but great for a group, so you may want to consider pooling resources and going in on an item together with friends! **Your participation is not required, but please be conscious of your noise level during this time so those who are participating can all hear the many many great items in detail. Whiskey Tasting: Be sure to arrive on time if you want to participate in the whiskey tasting - it is for the FIRST hour of the event (6:00-7:00 PM). Tickets are available here. Michigan Liquors will be sampling 5 unique and fun whiskeys. There are still tickets available that can be purchased on site. They are also offering to kickback 10% of any sales (to be picked up in store) to Yu Ying! Am I too late?: No, we can offer ticket sales on site including the addition of whiskey tasting! REEF Babysitting: If you signed up for REEF babysitting, you will drop your child/children off at the REEF entrance on Yu Ying’s campus starting at 5:45 PM. The staff will keep them entertained and provide them with a pizza dinner. Please note you must pick your kids back up by 11:15 PM at the latest!
