Taste the Art
An Intimate Art & Sensory Experience benefiting Emerald Village Oasis & the Center for Healing

The Event Experience

The Center for Healing invites you to an evening dedicated to the preservation of indigenous culture and the cultivation of communal strength. This event serves as a vital bridge between our honored community elders and the youth who will carry their wisdom forward. Guests will experience firsthand how cultural roots provide the foundation for modern mental health and self-love.

Join us in a beautiful private home in Oceanside, California, where artists from diverse and indigenous backgrounds will display their original work — each piece paired with chef inspired cacao dishes designed to awaken your senses and deepen your experience of what you’re seeing. Guided mindfulness moments focused on taste and sight will anchor you in the present as you move through a living gallery of color, texture, and culture. Cacao inspired drinks and non-cacao options will be available for purchase.

Soft sound bowls, handpan, and flute fill the air as you browse, taste, connect, and take something home that moves you.

Connecting to Our Cause

Our organization is committed to creating spaces for healing deeply rooted in indigenous tradition. Data shows that community led interventions significantly improve long term wellness outcomes. By honoring our elders as essential guides, we ensure that the journey toward healing is both culturally relevant and sustainable for all participants.

Funds raised will support Emerald Village Oasis — a sacred 8.88 acre intentional community in Vista, rooted in the ancestral lands of the Luiseño and Kumeyaay peoples — going toward building a bathroom facility for our elder community and event guests, continuing to offer transformative community events, and Phase 2 of our beloved fire circle. Funds will also support the Center for Healing, ensuring we can continue bringing our programming, education, and ceremonial offerings to our community for years to come.

Your Tangible Impact

Your contribution ensures that our primary programs remain accessible to those who need them most. Here is where your support creates immediate results:

$150 provides a seasonal healing workshop for a local family
$500 funds a mentorship cycle between an elder and three community youths
$1,000 secures the resources needed for a month of communal strength circles

Join our growing community of supporters who have committed to this vision of cultural wellness, including Target, Sacred Sons, The Plot, Buckboard Catering & Brew, and more. Your generosity makes this vital work possible. We invite you to join us in this investment.
