Dear ABC friends and family,

When my son John first came to the Alyssa Burnett Center in April 2014, I watched him find something truly special—a place where he belongs. Through the classes, friendships, and incredible staff, John discovered confidence, purpose, and joy. Today, he’s proud to serve as a classroom assistant and self-advocate - helping others learn and feel the same sense of inclusion he has always found here. The ABC is a second home for both of us. I’m honored to work alongside this team as one of the instructors and serve on the Friends of Alyssa Burnett Center Guild, helping ensure that others have access to the same opportunities John has had. Supporting the Alyssa Burnett Center means supporting a community where every individual with intellectual and developmental disabilities is valued, celebrated, and given the chance to thrive.
