The Anti-Corruption Foundation (ACF) is an international nonprofit organization founded by Alexei Navalny to expose corruption, challenge authoritarianism, and support the struggle for a free and democratic Russia.

Our Investigations

For more than a decade, our team has investigated how Vladimir Putin’s regime and its allies use public office for personal enrichment. We uncover hidden property, offshore structures, luxury assets, secret business interests, and networks of influence connected to senior officials, state companies, propagandists, and members of the ruling elite.

Our investigations are based on documents, public records, financial data, satellite images, corporate registries, and other verifiable evidence. They have reached millions of people in Russia and around the world.

What We Do Beyond Investigations

Exposing corruption is only part of our work. We also:

explain how the Russian political system functions;
document repression and censorship;
campaign for targeted sanctions against regime enablers;
support people resisting dictatorship;
help keep independent information accessible despite censorship and internet restrictions.

Repression Against Us

Russian authorities have tried to silence our work for years. Alexei Navalny was poisoned, imprisoned, and killed in a Russian penal colony. Our offices were raided, our organization was outlawed in Russia, and many team members were forced into exile.

People who cooperate with us, donate to us, or share our materials may face serious risks. Despite this, we continue our work because corruption, political violence, and the war against Ukraine are all part of the same system of unchecked power.

Our Goal

We work toward a Russia where:

government serves its citizens;
public money is not stolen;
courts are independent;
elections are fair and real;
the media is free;
no one is imprisoned for political views.

We believe that the truth matters, accountability is essential, and democratic change remains possible even under repression.
