On October 10th at the Downtown Aquarium in Houston, we gather for the 2nd Annual AICF Black Tie Gala- Continuing the Legacy and Expanding the Impact, an evening of elegance, celebration, and transformative purpose. This special night will honor the distinguished men of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and notable honored guests whose enduring legacy of scholarship, leadership, and service continues to uplift our communities.

Hosted by the Alpha Impact Charitable Foundation, the gala is more than a celebration—it is a strategic investment in the next generation and the continued strength of the Katy/Cypress community. Since 2013, AICF has worked intentionally to expand access to opportunity through scholarships, mentorship, and community-centered programming that prepares students to lead with confidence, purpose, and character.

A highlight of the evening will be celebrating the remarkable students selected as our AICF Scholarship Award recipients. These young scholars represent the promise of tomorrow, students who have demonstrated academic excellence, leadership potential, and a commitment to making a difference. We proudly recognize their achievements and celebrate the bright futures they are building as they pursue higher education and meaningful impact in their communities.

This year’s theme, “Continuing the Legacy, Expanding the Impact,” reflects both our proud foundation and our forward-looking mission.

In addition to expanding scholarship awards and strengthening structured mentorship programs, we are pursuing an ambitious and necessary goal: securing a permanent home in the Katy/Cypress area that will serve as a hub for mentorship, educational programming, and community engagement.

A dedicated facility will allow us to:

• Host mentoring sessions, leadership workshops, and college readiness programs
• Provide a consistent space for scholarship interviews, tutoring, and academic support
• Convene families, partners, and volunteers in a dedicated environment for service
• Establish a visible and lasting presence committed to long-term community advancement

Brick and mortar creates permanence.
Permanence creates access.
Access creates generational change.
