The Bemidji Area Arts Endowment (BAAE), a fund within the Northwest Minnesota Foundation's family of funds, promotes local arts and culture. Each year, the BAAE grants funds to nonprofit arts organizations for educational programs, exhibitions, art fairs, literary events, and music performances.

BAAE has recently launched the Art Legacy Project to support the arts in the community by auctioning off works by local artists to help future artists. The Art Legacy Project celebrates artists, preserves their stories, and fosters creative development. Proceeds from the Art Legacy Project auction will contribute to the endowment fund, enhancing available grants and ensuring ongoing support for our local arts community for years to come.

This online auction will culminate at the in-person Art Legacy Celebration event on Saturday, October 24 at The Loft in Bemidji, MN. All artwork presented for this auction can be viewed in person at the event. For more details, visit BemidjiArt.org and NWMF.org to purchase event tickets. Auction proceeds, as with all donations and sponsorships, are managed by the Northwest Minnesota Foundation’s endowment program.
