Ariana is a student in the Cumberland Valley School District. She is an active 12 year old who loves Tik Tok, her friends and her dog Colby. Ariana is described as funny and smart. She plays basketball and softball.

Ariana complained of knee pain during her last basketball season. She was seen by her doctor in March. He did not find any major concerns so she was sent to Physical Therapy. The therapist noticed that the swelling was not going down and advised her family to have her knee imaged. After an X-RAY, Ariana was immediately sent to get an MRI and CT scan. Shortly after, the doctor's found a mass on her left knee. On May 24 she was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma (bone cancer).

Ariana started with chemotherapy and on September 13 she had a 10 hour surgery at CHOP to amputate her left leg. Ariana continues to receive chemotherapy at Hershey Medical Center.
