"I just wanted a toy!" We've heard that over and over again this year from Zimbabwe to Nigeria, to Dominican Republic and Peru and more.

Joy in the eyes of the children and tears in the eyes of giver over something so simple, yet so impactful!

Over 500 million children have never had a toy. It's a really big number and we're doing what we can to change that. Our toy cars are all made by volunteers, from scrap wood! That includes many of you! And due to some truly amazing donors we don't have to pay for the scrap wood, or the glue, or the wheels. But we do have to pay for each screw that goes into the wheels. This is our greatest cost, twice a year.

It's because of the dedication of these volunteers, and donors and you that we can afford to keep making these toy cars. Alton used to ask, What is the price of a smile?" There isn't a price when you see the smiles and the difference it makes! With 4 wheels that turn on the axel screws these kids from the DR are driving far and learning and developing in ways they couldn't even imagine before. These toys are opening doors to the futures of children all over the world. Help us in our effort to be there for them when they need it most.
