The Babbie Rural & Farm Learning Museum's mission is to provide an entertaining environment where visitors can learn about rural and farm life in the Champlain Valley and Adirondack’s prior to the 1950’s.

Our goal is to enhance knowledge of rural agriculture life in Northern New York and create an atmosphere of how farm families lived and worked in the late 19^th and early 20^th century.

The Babbie Museum is a 501(c)(3) non-profit directed and managed 100% by Volunteers. We are dedicated to preserving our historical way of life. Teaching everyone the way rural homes and farms operated in the past is the main focus of the Babbie Museum.
