For close to 30 years, Camp McDowell has been the home of Special

Session, a week-long camp for adults with varying levels of abilities. Over

the last 10 years, with help from leadership, we have grown and now can

welcome campers to come to Camp for free, all because of supporters

like you! We now host a Fall Retreat, Unbound, where campers are able to

participate in a more intentional program and reflect on what brings us

together when the world feels disconnected. We provide safe and inclusive

communities for all of our friends and are excited to see how your

generosity can allow us to continue growing.

Bethany's Kids is a weekend retreat for children and youth of all abilities

age 4th grade through graduation. Staffed by high school and college-age

counselors, Bethany's Kids is a full inclusion experience where we see the

love of God in all people. Our hope is that the leadership begun here

continues to thrive as staff and campers move into the minimum age for

Special Session. Our goal at Bethany's Kids is to create a community that

thrives together, despite our differences.

Every donation matters and allows us to continue our mission of inclusivity

and welcoming campers for free. Our $25,000 goal will support every

aspect of Bethany's Camps. We hope to include more campers, nurses,

and staff so our community can better support those we serve. Your

generosity allows us to create space for more people to join our loving

and supportive Camp family.
