OUR MISSION IS SIMPLE…

Helping Mamas elevates the well being and dignity of women by providing diapers, period products and other essential baby supplies. We harness the power of community support so that all families can thrive.

Helping Mamas collects essential items such as diapers, wipes, bottles, clothes and car seats and distributes them to our 70+ partner organizations across East Tennessee.

Helping Mamas eliminates the burden of collecting and coordinating essential items for family support workers.

Family support workers are able to spend more time in direct services with women and children, providing education and resources to support long term success.

1 in 2 families have to choose between food and diapers for their children.

1 in 3 low income people reported missing work, school or similar events due to lack of access to period products.

Diapers are considered a luxury, therefore not eligible for purchase through WIC or SNAP.

Join us for a ladies night out at The Reserve at Bluebird Hill to support Helping Mamas Knoxville. We will have heavy hors d'oeuvres from Rice Catering & Personal Chef, sweets provided by Kids Baking Championship Finalist, Sarah Bakes and Cookies by A Pi. Specialty cocktails provided by Sugarland Shine with Flossy spinning a little sweetness to top your drink. Custom carpentry done by Marsh Made Designs. Photo Booth Balloon backdrop provided by Balloons and Co. Tons of silent auction items, a fashion show and shopping! The fashion show will feature spring styles from joy in the DAWN, Gather Knox, Virginia Jane Shop, Gracie Lee's Gifts, Elle Boutique and Apricot Lane. Watch live painting by local artists Jenny Parkhurst and Kellie Montana. Family Tree Candle Company will be selling a custom "BLOOM" candle as well! Fashion show music provided by Legacy Sound. Tent provided by Event Rentals by Rothchild. Florals provided by Vintage Floral Designs and Forever Florals. Don't forget to get a permanent piece of jewelry from Itty Bitty Bling before you leave for the night. A portion of proceeds from all boutiques sales will go back to Helping Mamas Knoxville! Our goal is to raise $15,000 so we can help provide basic need to even more families. Last year we reached over 11,000 clients and with your help we can IMPACT even more this year!
