The Pearl Institute Goal

For five years, The Pearl Institute has been building bridges between cutting-edge mental health care, community healing, and hope for the future.

Serving veterans, first responders, healthcare professionals, and individuals throughout Asheville and Western North Carolina, including underserved rural and Appalachian communities, The Pearl works to ensure that innovative, trauma-informed care is accessible to those who need it most.

Today, we are building the next bridge.

As mental health challenges continue to rise, many individuals face barriers to accessing the care they need due to geography, financial hardship, workforce shortages, and limited availability of specialized services. At The Pearl Institute, we believe that healing should not be limited by where someone lives, what insurance they have, or their ability to pay.

Your support helps expand access to life-changing mental health services, provide treatment scholarships, train the next generation of clinicians, strengthen rural behavioral health programs, and prepare for emerging research opportunities that could transform care for individuals living with PTSD and other trauma-related conditions.

In particular, The Pearl is working to expand access to care for veterans and first responders and prepare for participation in emerging PTSD treatment and research initiatives that may bring new hope to those who have dedicated their lives to serving others.

Together, we are creating pathways to healing for veterans, first responders, healthcare workers, and community members throughout Western North Carolina and beyond.

Heavy hors d’oeuvres and a dessert bar will be provided by Everyday Gourmet. Coffee, tea, water, and desserts will be complimentary throughout the evening. Additional beverages will be available for purchase through Highland Brewing.
