Lift Up Our Community
Celebrate the legacy of Bretton Woods and our community with an opportunity to blend history and philanthropy. As part of our Lift Up Our Community initiative, inaugurated during our 50th Anniversary during the 2023-2024 ski season, we continue the celebration with a one-of-a-kind, retired Fabyan's Express Triple Chair being auctioned off starting Homecoming Weekend, November 29–December 1, 2024. Bidding is open through 3pm on March 29, 2025 when the winner will be announced during our Beach Party festivities. Take part and bid on a singular piece of Bretton Woods history with proceeds from the auction to benefit the Say Goodnight to Hunger campaign and the fight against food insecurity.

Fabyan's Express Chair Details
Fabyan’s Triple Chair is a Doppelmayr fixed grip 3 person triple chair installed in 1983. The lift provided mid-mountain access to the saddle below Mt Rosebrook, now the location of the Rosebrook Lodge. With the installation of the Gondola, the fixed grip lift became redundant and the decision was made to retire it. The chair is constructed of hot dip galvanized steel to prevent weathering.

About the Artist
Emily Royal is the founder and artist behind Alpenglow Studio, based in the White Mountains. Raised in southern New Hampshire, her early love of nature and its textures inspired her creative journey, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from Plymouth State University in 2004. Emily's career spans newspaper, marketing, and hospitality industries. Emily began sharing her work after embracing the idea that art isn’t complete until it’s shared. She currently works as the Marketing Coordinator/Graphic Designer/Social Media Ambassador at the Omni Mount Washington Resort & Spa and lives in Littleton with her husband, Jason, and one furry kid, Bode.
