Your tax deductible donations to Engage South KC will help make it possible to lean into this vision for 2023.

Building/General Fund

This fund allows for us to cover missionary contributions, the Good Samaritan fund, payroll, rent, platforms for websites/online worship and other expenses related to worship experiences. Essentially, this fund allows us to move into the intersections of ministry when God calls us.

Refugee Ministry

This fund allows for us to care for newly arrived refugees (persons who have been forced to leave their country in order to escape war, persecution or natural disaster) here in Kansas City in partnership with KC for Refugees and resettlement agencies.

College of Trades

Engage coordinates a Fine Arts Program at the JOCO Dept. of Corrections Adult Residential Center through the JCCC College of Trades. This program encircles families and individuals impacted by the criminal justice system by bringing together resources that stabilize their futures.

Equip Scholarships

Create KC, an initiative of Engage SKC, offers a $2,000 scholarship to be used toward a seminary education through Equip. Scripture talks about being cheerful and generous givers (2 Cor. 9). And in 1 Cor. 12, Ephesians 2/4 and Romans 12, we understand that the church has many members, but we are all part of the same body. Therefore, Engage is committed to offering access to scholarship funds to both members of Engage and members of other churches in KC. We believe in equipping the body to do ministry.

Create KC Small Business Incubator

Create KC is a missional initiative of Engage South KC. Our mission is to engage, empower and disciple CREATORS by helping them to CREATE. Our commitment is that all creative projects that we as a church undertake will directly benefit our local community. Create KC is excited to serve as an incubator for local initiatives by offering entrepreneurs support to kick-start the dreams God has put on their hearts.

Intersections KC is an online magazine launched by Engage in 2022. It is dedicated to encountering God in life, work & art. Engage South KC is inspired by Jesus, Impacting our City & World. Engage is planted at the intersection of urban and suburban life in the Waldo/Brookside area. We creatively tell the story of Jesus in worship and through being an incubator for the arts in Kansas City.
