Comedy for Camp is a casual, fun-filled evening of gift card grabs, silent and live auctions, clean comedy, and of course lots of laughs!

THE CAUSE: Soroptimist International of Joplin's largest service project is a week-long annual summer camp for foster children. This year marks 40 years since Camp Soroptimist began! Soroptimist members plan all the camp activities and work in conjunction with the Department of Social Services to identify foster children between the ages of 8 and 14 who could benefit from the experience. Many of the children comment that it is the most fun thing they do all summer and look forward to coming back!

Chad Thornsberry has an instant likability the second he steps behind a microphone. Chad's conversational style is the perfect backdrop for his hilarious observations. Drawing on experiences ranging from growing up in a trailer park, being a former public school teacher, marriage, kids, and all of life's everyday problems, Chad's own clean unique view of life has him quickly becoming one of the most sought after comedians today.

Greg Hahn is a chaos agent of hysterical comedy. His crazed joke delivery is a hallmark on the nationally syndicated Bob and Tom Radio Show. He is also a stalwart, another word he doesn’t know. On television, Greg ran for President, played unhinged drum solos and had his own 15 second podcast on Comedy Central’s Tosh.0. Greg also appeared on Late Night with Conan O’Brien and was featured on Bob and Tom’s Comedy Central Special. Before comedy, Greg was an Officer in the Marines and worked in several serious jobs where he refused to be serious.

Howie Nunnelly and Bubba Evansco are back again to serve as event emcees! This dynamic duo has been on the radio together since 2003 and became co-hosts on KODE’s television morning show in 2019. They have become a powerful, community driven pair and have championed many charitable causes in two decades of service.
