The Haitian Cut Metal Art tradition began in the early 1950’s. These elaborate works of art are collected by art aficionados around the world. Cut metal artists transform discarded oil drums into elaborate sculptures that combine Haitian Vodou imagery, Christian iconography, mythology and scenes from everyday life.

This auction is a fundraiser to benefit the Toussaint Louverture Cultural Center (TLCC) which serves as a focal point, in Boston, for the expression of Haitian culture through a variety of activities, events, and programs. The Center maintains a library and an art gallery curated by the Haitian Artists Assembly of Massachusetts.

Please bid to help us reach our goal of $5,000.
