The Meeting Professionals International Oregon Chapter (MPI Oregon) is an affiliate of the world’s most powerful meetings industry association, Meeting Professionals International (MPI). MPI has over 14,000 members with 70+ chapters across the world. This professional statewide organization is made up of meeting planners and suppliers with over 140 members – 47% of our members are planners. The meetings and hospitality industries are a $140 million impact on the state of Oregon’s economy.

One of the important products the chapter offers to members is educational opportunities for furthering our members careers in the industry. Due to corporate cutbacks, many companies are no longer able to afford the additional expense of professional development to its employees. In an effort to help offset this economic burden, it is the goal of MPI Oregon to raise enough money to offer several scholarships for educational purposes, such as certification within the industry.

In order to accomplish this goal, the MPI Oregon Fundraising Committee will holds an Annual Silent Auction fundraising event during our Annual Awards Gala. This year's silent auction is also held online for more participation from chapter members, friends and family!
