The I Love LK Memorial Fund was established by Skip and Misty McAlister in memory of their daughter, Lila Kate, who was born with Down syndrome. Founded as a celebration to Lila’s radiant spirit, the fund provides vital support to local organizations and initiatives—especially those serving individuals with special needs. Lila was a remarkable young girl whose warmth, joy, and kindness left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Through this foundation, Skip and Misty aim to extend Lila’s legacy of love and compassion by giving back to the causes that touched her life and theirs. For the past five years, Futrell Marine has proudly hosted the annual Poker Run in support of the I Love LK Foundation. Thanks to its continued success, the Poker Run will be the Memorial Fund’s primary fundraiser this year.
