Lancaster Downtowners is a dynamic network of older residents who love living in Lancaster, and who choose to stay informed, involved and independent. We believe in the power of community to change the way we age throughout society.

Just One Call is one of our signature programs. Thanks to our amazing volunteers, we help each other with grocery delivery, transportation, home maintenance, technology coaching and more.

We socialize and stay active with walks, bocce, bikes, yoga, book clubs, dining out and a host of other fun events and activities. Check out our events calendar to learn about our many Downtowners activities.

We keep you up-to-date with information and resources to help navigate the aging process. For example, we educate each other and provide expert advice about scams and Medicare open enrollment. We help connect you to a host of resources available in the community.

We offer income-based memberships to keep our dues affordable and accessible to all. We are growing! More than 250 people are engaged in the life of our organization.

We are part of the Village to Village Network, a nation-wide organization that supports older adults who choose to live independent, healthy, purposeful lives with connections to their communities. The Network champions the Village model at state and national levels as a best practice for healthy, vibrant aging.
