Please join us for an unforgettable evening as we step into A Night of Illusions — because for millions living with preventable blindness, sight itself can feel just out of reach. With your help, we can turn that illusion into reality and bring the gift of sight to those who need it most.

Foundation for Ophthalmological Care From the United States, or FOCUS, is a Barrington-based 501(c)(3) public charity (EIN #36-6112617) fighting blindness in the developing world since 1961. Our mission is to train, equip, and supply local eye care providers to increase local capacity in a sustainable way. FOCUS is powered almost entirely by volunteers, with board members who are internationally recognized for their work in global ophthalmology.

In recent years, FOCUS has focused much of its work in East Africa, partnering with institutions like MUHAS (Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences) in Tanzania to build local eye care capacity, alongside continued work in Rwanda and Burundi. Our reach also extends to India, in partnership with the Aravind Eye Care System, as well as Jamaica and Haiti. This work is only made possible by the generous support of our FOCUS army.

Join us for an evening of magic, mystery, and meaning — with a live magician, silent and live auctions, and inspiring stories from the doctors and patients whose lives have been touched by this work — as we celebrate our way to a future free from preventable global blindness. Because when illusions fade, real sight remains.

Secure your seat today and be a part of the story.
