Book your ticket to paradise-- join us for a "Twilight in the Tropics" evening at our annual Bids to Benefit fundraiser!

The public is welcome to purchase a ticket to join our jaunt and be transported by the sounds, sights, sips, and tantalizing tastes of the tropics to an island far away. Sample delicacies inspired by Tropical locales from across the globe as you navigate a special menu of canapés, dinner, and desserts. Beat the "heat" with included refreshments or swing by the bar for an extensive selection of additional drinks for purchase. And you especially won't want to miss a live performance from our special musical guests--Lulada Club-- NYC's all-women salsa orchestra-- as they play a mix of masterful interpretations of vintage tropical rhythms encompassing salsa, bolero, and cha-cha-cha! Let the island rhythms move you as you explore this destination's not-to-miss highlights-- our exciting selection of silent auction items and bidding boards.

Silent auction items

Silent auction items range from an exclusive 7 night stay on the Caribbean island of Nevis in a private 3-story oceanfront mansion to a brand new travel bag to accompany you on your next voyage (possibly to Nevis)! And as to be expected with our Bids to Benefit event, be sure to peruse the impressive selection of wines and liquors curated by Bronxville Wines & Spirits.

Bidding boards

Discover adventures among our bidding board experiences. These curated experiences have a set number of spaces available at a set ticket price. But because space is limited, you will need to act fast upon arrival to secure your spot!

Twilight in the Tropics Travel Tips

Dress code is resort chic- bright colors, splashy prints, or florals with flair... and you can't help but dance with Lulada Club playing so don't forget your dancing shoes!
Charge your phone before your trip-- bidding on silent auction items and experiences will be completed via mobile device
Bring cash in the local currency (USD)- Cash Bar Only
Benefactor Package- Receive early access to all experiences which are limited in capacity and available on a first come first serve basis. Benefactors also receive 2 drinks included.

Capacity is limited (21 and over only) so do not wait to purchase your tickets as they will not be sold at the door. Tickets cannot be refunded. Email bidstobenefit@jlbronxville.org with any questions.

Your equatorial excursion to "Twilight in the Tropics" will support the mission and impact of the Junior League of Bronxville closer to home across our service areas of Bronxville, Eastchester, Mount Vernon, Tuckahoe, and Yonkers.

The Junior League of Bronxville, Inc. is an organization of women whose mission is to advance women's leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and training.
