Freedom Missions' vision is to see a healthy body of Christ, equipped and actively advancing the Kingdom as in the early church in Acts. Our mission is to train local church leaders who will multiply and accelerate the Kingdom in their regions. We do this through leadership training in local churches, conferences, and at our Apostolic Training Hub in Wooster, Ohio.

In 2009, Urie and Amanda Hershberger stepped off the airplane for the first time in Iquitos, Peru. Little did they know that this first step of obedience would lead to a lasting partnership and ministry in the Peruvian Amazon region of South America. What started as preaching in churches, conferences, and leadership schools has now grown to overseeing a network of churches in Brazil, developing local leaders, and youth discipleship. But the Lord has even more in mind for Freedom Missions. Other countries are inviting Freedom Missions to come minister to their leaders and develop their next generation. Freedom Missions is now active in Peru, Brazil, Bolivia, and Albania, and is planning its first trip to Africa in 2027. What started with just Urie and Amanda has now grown to 20+ active ministers going out on 10+ trips per year. And we are just getting started.
