Vadnais Heights Freedom Day Festival is a Juneteenth Celebration that honors and commemorates June 19, 1865, when the last group of enslaved African Americans, in Texas, were finally informed of their freedom.

It is a day to celebrate African American heritage, culture, and achievements, showcasing the contributions of African Americans to the fabric of American society. While also providing an opportunity to educate oneself and others about the history of slavery, the struggle for civil rights, and the ongoing fight against racism and injustice.

The importance of having this festival in our community is to ensure we celebrate and honor all cultures and heritage reflected throughout the city of Vadnais Heights. By bidding or donating to our auction, you will ensure that this event continues to thrive for years to come.

The auction is pick-up only. The auction will run through June 24nd. Winners will be announced and contact shortly thereafter.
