I am thrilled to extend an invitation for your esteemed organization to join hands with YOU Life Skills and Leadership Educational Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in the USA, in an impactful philanthropic initiative aimed at fostering confidence in relationships, communication, promoting hygiene and reproductive health development for youth in Moshi, Tanzania, Africa.

In collaboration with the Nguzo Women and Youth Foundation, led by Aikande Robert Nkya and her team, we are dedicated to empowering youth through a variety of educational and health programs. As part of our 2025 mission, "Educate, Inspire, Empower," we will return to Tanzania from July 27 to August 10, 2025.

Our endeavor seeks to address and put into place solutions for the following challenges:

High dropout rates in schools exacerbated by the stigmatization surrounding adolescent girls' menstruation cycles and widespread isolation in Tanzania
Increased violence among students, limited opportunities for higher education, and decreased community engagement, which creates a lack of training, programs, and support.

Our initiative aims to achieve the following objectives:

Education of secondary school adolescent girls and boys on sexual reproductive health, life skills, and anti-bullying tools through in-school programs, alongside vocational and entrepreneurship training through youth clubs and young women groups.
Support for the creation and distribution of hygiene kits for adolescent girls in and out of schools in the Kilimanjaro Region.

Last year, YOU Life Skills and Leadership was pleased to donate an industrial-strength sewing machine to a school, along with essential materials. This donation empowered the girls at that school to become more self-sufficient by enabling them to sew hygiene kits themselves, rather than waiting for humanitarian aid to provide these much-needed supplies. This year, we plan to donate another sewing machine to a different school to continue promoting self-sufficiency.

Education of Occupational Therapy professionals and parents of disabled youth in personality-based modalities designed to improve the quality of life for both the youth and their caregivers.

We recognize the significant investment required for this endeavor and seek sponsorship/support for various aspects including, but not limited to:

1. Airline travel for volunteers to Kilimanjaro International Airport.

2. Lodging arrangements for volunteers during their stay.

3. Coordination with local authorities, including visa requirements and communication with migration offices.

4. Production of printed and promotional materials.

5. Provision of hygiene kits, and essential supplies for distribution.

6. Contribution of funds to purchase sewing machines in Tanzania, as well as fabric and notions needed to support local initiatives.
