Thousands of young people and young adults have caught the fire since the first High School Preaching Conference took place over 20 years ago. Since that first conference, participants in the High School Preaching Conference, College Preaching Conference, Youth Preaching Workshops and Dominican Young Adult Chapters have discovered the power of Dominican Family, joy in serving others and their call to Preach the Good News.

I am still very much connected with the Dominican sisters and continue to look for opportunities to preach not only with my words but with methods I had been taught so many years ago. I can truly say my life was changed and made forever better by the experiences I have had beginning with attending the Dominican College Preaching in Action Conference.

On Friday, March 10, 2023, Dominican Youth Movement USA will celebrate our mission of connecting youth and young adults to the tradition of Dominican Preaching and fostering their call to preach at our 2rd Annual Gala: Building a Bridge for Tomorrow’s Leaders. The funds raised from this event will allow us to continue providing quality opportunities for youth and young adults to develop a foundation to become leaders in their communities.

This year's Gala will be a virtual celebration honoring Sr. Barbara McEneany, OP. Sr. Barbara is a sister of St. Dominic in Blauvelt, N. Y., and the campus minister of Dominican University New York. Congratulations, Sr. Barbara!

We are also excited to announce that we will be having a virtual silent auction as part of our Gala that will start on February 24, 2023. We have a variety of auction items to bid on. Auction items will be revealed closer to the Gala and many items are sure to catch your eye, so make sure you register to bid now! You can bid multiple times on the same item.
